EXPANSION OF OUR DAY CARE:
ACADEMY FOR ARTISTIC DEVELOPMENT AND EARLY LEARNING

The historic IKE’S BEAUTY SUPPLY building at 401 Clifton Street in East Waco is being redesigned by ABACUS ENGINEERING in Hewitt, Texas as an 80-kid Daycare and After School Program.

This will be an expansion of JUST AS I AM MINISTRIES, INC’s Daycare, ACADEMY FOR ARTISTIC DEVELOPMENT AND EARLY LEARNING CENTER, at 1108 Faulkner Lane, Waco, Texas 76704.

The historic IKE’S BEAUTY SUPPLY building was originally IKE’s ICE CREAM DRIVE-THRU and IKE’s VARIETY STORE. The entire building was converted to IKE’s BEAUTY SUPPLY.

HISTORIC ALPHA THEATRE RENOVATION

For several years, Just As I Am Ministries Inc. has dreamed of resurrecting the historic Alpha Theatre as a Musical and Theatrical Arts Center for Youth.

The historic Alpha Theatre, located in at 221 Clifton Street, Waco, Texas 76704, was recently approved by the State of Texas Historic Commission to receive a RECORDED HISTORICAL MARKER.

The historic Alpha Theatre, constructed in 1948-1949, has been redesigned as A Musical and Theatrical Performing Arts Center for Youth by Scales Engineering and the the plans have been approved by the City of Waco Planning Department..
